I'm having similar but different issue.

I feel it started since the 7 updates I had to do over night. I have a day one xbox about 7 years old. Today it froze up.. i dont know what the issue is. The main home screen wont load or will take for ever to load. I can barely navigate, and even that takes
for ever. Cant open any apps or games. What's going on and anyone else have this issue.

Ive had it for over a year so I wont be able to get a swap from GAME. They will most likely want proof that it does it, and it only happens on rare occassions.

I have had the exact issue, had a 40.3gb install its now 27.7gb game wont even load from the dash and wont uninstall for that matter
