Xbox wont let me send messages for no reason how do i fix this

So this is a brand new account

the settings are all set so everybody can message me.

there is no enforcement action on this account (it was just made not even 24 hours ago) and there are no enforcement actions on any of my other accounts

i already reset my xbox by holding down the power button and unplugging it from the wall.

i dont know how to fix it and i dont feel like getting someone for xbox to call me just to be told they dont know how to fix it so if someone could help me i would really appreciate it

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having issues with your account not being able to send messages is that right? Yeah, I would definitely recommend you remove and redownload your profile. Do you have
issues with other profiles on the console? Is there any way this could have been set up as a child account? Let us know with a reply a bit more information to determine how to best assist you. Let us know how it goes.

yes i have tried using the app, it gives me the same message to go to the link you just gave me it sends me to put my cell number in to verify my self but then puts me through to a page that has nothing to do with fixing my messages and I couldn't figure
out where to go so i gave up and came here to get some answers. maybe i will try to remove the account and re add it when i get home from work.

I know i had this issue with another random account i made and at the time you could call xbox support and they couldnt tell me what the issue was or if there was any fix at all. So i hope removing it and adding it again will fix this issue

Thanks for reaching out to the forums today. I'm sorry to hear about the current issue with not being able to send messages. Have you checked to see if you can send messages through other devices?

We do have an article with instruction on how to resolve this type of issue. Go ahead and check out the article

After doing the process I would recommend trying toremove
and re-add your account.

Side Note: It is very important to make sure you know the primary email/password to the account before removing it from the console.

Same problem here it wont let me play Voice messages, wont let me send messages or join parties. Hopefully it will be fixed soon
