    I have xbox live gold untill next year but it says i dont have gold subscription and i have removed my account and have restart the xbox but it still says i have not got xbox live gold

    Yes the service and subscription still says i have xbox gold live but it wont won me play the gold games

    Can you confirm that the
    Services & Subscriptions     page still says you have Gold?

    The 12 month Gold subscription has recently been discontinued.

    I think i figured it out, my xbox live subscription ran out between getting the game and letting it download and booting it up to play it. apparently my xbox games with gold won't let me play in between gold subscriptions. I wanted to do some single-players
    while on gold hiatus for a few days, but that won't let me.

    That is exactly what I have been trying to do and it won't let me. It keeps telling me "You need an Xbox LIVE Gold Membership to play multiplayer games online. Would you like to become a Gold member today?"
