Xbox won’t let me play, download, or delete digital games.

When it comes to this error, youll want to perform a soft factory redet following the exact steps below.

1. Fully power down your Xbox by holding the power button on the Xbox for 10 seconds.

2. Once powered down, remove the external drive and then hold down the eject and bind (sync) button on the Xbox.

(Do not release these 2 buttons.)

3. While holding those buttons, tap the power button on the Xbox once to power up the Xbox.

4. Listen for 2 separate power-up chimes.

5. A troubleshoot screen should pop up. After these two chimes release the buttons.

6. On the Troubleshoot screen, select Reset.

You will be provided with two options, if you do not wish to start clean, you can select keep games and apps and this will allow you to avoid reinstalling all apps and games.

Also, as long as the Xbox was connected to the internet, then all game saves would be stored in the cloud storage, those will sync back as soon as you get back online and launch a game.

Do not plug the external device back in at all.

Log into your accounts once the set up is complete.

Try launching games, apps and installing games onto the internal storage.

If everything runs normally, restart the Xbox and see if it remains normal.

If it is normal, power down the Xbox, insert the external drive and everything should be good to go

It’s surprisingly not in there. But I have all my dlc purchases and when I sign into my kids Xbox that I game share with. It’s there. I never downloaded it off of game pass bc I own it. Both physical disc and digital and it won’t let me play it when I put in the disc either. So I’m wondering if I’m going to have to uninstall and then re install it.

It won’t let me click on the reset option or even use the restart option for anything. It will only allow me to uninstall the games directly. The game is the digital copy purchased from the Xbox store on the Xbox series x.

But having digitally purchased JEDI SURVIVOR DELUXE EDITION.

The store won’t let me download it stating it incompatible with my Xbox one S??

Hello again CrazyChris02, try to do it this way, liquese the console and then go again in The Purchase History, find the game and click on top of it, should open another tab in your browser, then click install and choose the device to install.
