Xbox won't let me play an Xbox Gold game even though I have Game Pass Ultimate

No, it won't let me play halo either. I have a valid xbox game pass ultimate subscription though

We need to validate your subscription by following the steps below, make sure that you can see the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as "active":

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

Once confirmed simply remove and re-add your account to re-sync the license.

"REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

It's either you will buy the Xbox Live Gold individually or upgrade to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and EA Play both for Xbox and PC.

Nothing.You need an active gold sub to play any xbox one games with gold but not for xbox 360 games.

Doesn't matter if it's just a gold sub or a ultimate sub.

Even if you let either subscription expire you will still have the games,you just won't be able to play the xbox one GWG until you reactivate either a gold subscription or an ultimate subscription.

I have a similar issue I converted my xbox live gold into the game pass ultimate which runs out tonight, I didn`t use the game pass features so went and bought a 3 months live gold voucher but when I try and get the 3 months live it converts it to one
month game pass ultimate even though I have cancelled the automatic re-newel, if I try again tomorrow will it let me get the live gold or am I going to have the same problems
