xbox won't connect to my network

    Hi there Joe,

Without knowing more about the issue, I would suggest the following:

    1. Turn off the console and unplug it for 30 seconds. This clears cache.

    2. If you are using an Xbox One console: Xbox One Network Connection Error Solution

    3. If you are using an Xbox 360 console: Xbox 360 Connection Error Solution

Give the troubleshooting a try and please let us know the results.

I hope that this helps out!

My Xbox won't connect to the Xbox Network

Hi SpeedySebe, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Please perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

Can't connect to ceartain network (DNS?)

    Hi,

No DNS is not the issue here its just that you can't connect to the wireless network at all, until you can connect to the network it won't get an ip address or a DNS address, even if you manually enter an address it won't help because it isn't connected
    to the wireless network.

The router issues the Xbox an ip address and DNS settings, but it won't until has connected to the network first which it can't at the moment.
