Windows 10 use requires Bluetooth 4.2+, Xbox Wireless adapter or compatible USB-C cable. Each sold separately, explaining why both the adapter and cable weren't included with the headset.

What happens if you try connecting the player 2 controller first, so that it is now considered player 1. Are you able to hear audio from the headset now? If not, then the controller could be faulty.

If its the wired ome sure

If not you will need an audio cable connection if it haas one

I peraonally use the stealth 600 v2

(Important notr v2 headsets are xbox wireless compatible so no dongle is needed )

When purchasing a headset always look at the compatibility on the box

If it doesnt have a dongle for wireless it must have a made for xbox label which v2 has or some other ones like luccid have xbox wireless andan audio jack

We understand this must be confusing since it works fine with the just the controller connected to the pc but not with the headset. I would recommend trying a wired connection with the controller if the headset is wireless as well. Check to see if it still
gives any audio stuttering.
