Xbox Wireless Headset Volume Wheel Snapped Off

I have the Xbox Wireless Headset and unfortunately the Volume Wheel has Snapped off, this seems to be a common issue looking online and I would expect more from a premium headset.

However, as I use this on a daily basis I need to get it sorted sooner rather then later, but it is out of warranty (By only a matter of weeks) so the website will not let me raise a Service Request says something like no Services available or something like that.

But you clearly have out of warranty costs for the UK to get it resolved, so why can I not raise a request?

    :)

Xbox Wireless Headset Volume Wheel Snapped Off

    Hi mattbersker,

Welcome to Xbox Community Forums. We appreciate for sharing your concern with us and we hope that you are doing well today.

We understand that you are having issues with your Wireless Headset Volume Wheel. As per description, warranty expires though it was just a matter of weeks when you got the headset and that's the reason you were not able to raise service request on the web.

May we ask where you bought the headset? If it is an official Xbox headset (Made by Microsoft), then log in on Microsoft account | Devices to check if it was registered. and book it for a repair. For out of warranty, then you will be charged for the repair.

Otherwise go to this slink to process to request a repair service. Getting your Xbox device serviced | Xbox Support (read and follow instruction well)

If you have done this already and the reason for non-acceptance request from the system due t out of warranty status, you can recheck or dispute warranty period providing you have the official receipts as proof of the date of purchased. To do that, you need to contact real time support.

We are looking forward to your response. We will be glad to follow up and help you.

    Headset not working

    Hello ese2320,

Is there a volume wheel on one of the ear pieces of the headset? Because on the wireless version headset there is, and the chat volume is separated from it. Check that, because it could be all the way down.

Xbox Wireless Headset Volume Wheel Has fallen off.

    Hello JamesBlackwell5,

    Good day!

I couldn't imagine how you're feeling right now, but it turns out that since the product has already ended its warranty the best possible thing to do is to purchase a new one. Considering that the product is out of warranty, you are most likely will be declined for refund or replacement. Although, you are free still free to contact live support and see if there's something they can do with the situation. That's out take away for this case.

I will leave this thread open for other helpful moderators just in case they have further insights that they can share with you. For now, our team will bow out.

We wish you the best of luck!

Xbox Wireless Headset Volume Wheel Has fallen off.

So is there no way I can have this fixed? It's a £110 headset. I just have to throw it away and buy a new one after just over a year?
