    Xbox wireless headset (Turtlebeach) only works when joining a party


    Okay, just as the title suggests, my headset's microphone for my xbox (using a series X) only works when I join a party. When I create a party and I invite others, the only way for my microphone to work is to leave and rejoin.

    I have no clue why it happens, the headset obviously works fine, and only the microphone is affected.

    That said, sometimes my microphone does randomly stop working and I have to turn off and turn on the headset.

    I feel this is a bluetooth connectivity issue, but I wasn't able to find any similar posts about this.

    If anyone has some advice or found a fix, let me know. I am in the Preview Beta group for xbox insiders, so this might be a bug related to that?

    Hello, FUZYBUNNY! Unfortunately the 360 wireless headset will not work with the Xbox One. There are currently no Bluetooth adapters for the Xbox One so a Bluetooth headset will not function. Currently the only 100% wireless headsets for the Xbox One are

    Hi ANTDUB22,

    No word or indication from Microsoft on an official wireless headset as of yet but I wouldn't be surprised that something get announced in Fall. I can remember the first wireless headset that came out for the Xbox 360 in 2006 a year after the console release.

    There are a few wireless headsets out there for the Xbox One made by third parties like Turtlebeach.

    I have turtlebeach x31 and xc1 headsets. Turtlebeach is the best. Xbox unfortunetly make crappy headsets. Fact. Turtlebeach are the best. Just avoid getting the really old models. I tried the xbox bluetooth wireless headset. Had to shout into it for it to

    What logitech headset are you talking there is a quite a bit of wireless headsets that work well with the xbox, Astro's turtlebeach ect. Am sure there might be a way to get it working depending on the model.
