Xbox Wireless Headset Stuck

You cant attach a digital cable to an headset. so yes you are stuck with the headset adapter, unless you get a fully wireless headset I have the TB 500X,

My new xbox wireless headset was working fine this morning but went to use it and it was stuck on a flashing orange light. Plugged it in and now it's stuck on a solid orange light. I have tried to hard reset the device but nothing is happening. Any suggestions?

I tried to charge my headset while listening to music

and now the light is stuck orange and it wont function at all now

cant listen to music, Cant even turn it on or off

I tried the reset thing (hold the power button and mute button) and literally Nothing happened

HAS ANYONE figured out how to fix this?

I’m having a similar issue as well. I was charging the headset while listening to music (connected to my PC via Bluetooth). I used it like that for several hours while I was working with no problems. Last night, I turned it back on and used it to play games on my Series X until about 2am. When I tried to turn it off, the button didn’t do anything. The LED stayed solid white and it would not turn off. I tried the hard reset (hold power + mic mute buttons together), but still nothing.

Here’s where it gets stranger - when I powered off my Series X using the power button, it turned back on after about 2 seconds. Tried several times - same thing. It was like the headset (which was still stuck powered on), was sending a constant power on signal to the Xbox. I ended up just unplugging the Xbox to keep it from running all night.

When I woke up today, the LED on my wireless headset was still solid white and there was still no response from the power button (no response trying a hard reset again, either). So I just waited.. and waited.. and waited some more until the battery finally died and the LED turned off. I waited about an hour before plugging it in to try to charge it and that does seem to be working. The LED is flashing orange, which is normal for charging when the battery is very low. I’m going to give it a few more hours to see if it will fully charge. Then I’ll try powering on and cross my fingers. I’m hoping it was just locked up and that the battery depletion cleared the issue. I’ll post a reply later with an update.

In the meantime, has anything like this happened to anyone else besides the people who’ve already mentioned it? Curious to know if anyone else has run into something like this and actually had luck fixing it.

I saw someone post to hard reset it you press and hold the power and the mic mute button until it starts to flash.

Did you try to resync it with the xbox?

I have. The power button does nothing. Plugging it in via USB-C does nothing. It's just on solid orange light all the time now.
