    Hello,

    While using the xbox wireless headset, the plastic that holds the microphone structure broke out of nowhere. I read on the forums that this is a problem for most people and now I don't know what to do about it... My Microsoft warranty expired two months ago.I am very careful about using Microsoft stuff and I respect it a lot.

    Warranty on the headsets were 90 days If im not mistaken. My headset warranty ended last yr June..my kids I got theirs November and they didn't get them until Christmas...so that warranty is also gone. 😩 What bugs me even more is the headsets original proce was 99.99 now I saw them priced at 59.99 😑...

    I have the exact same issue in the exact same spot. Purchased around Christmas time. My prior headphones lasted for 5 years, and these only last 5 months?

    I've had no luck getting through to Microsoft. Has anybody else been able to get through?

    Mine broke in the same spot as everyone else. I put it on last night and it just broke, didn't even touch the mic boom and I never drop this thing. I handle my electronics with delicate care.

    But being that these all have the same location for breakage, seems like a design flaw to me.

    Looks like they closed the other forum post I had posted a long issue about with it. Same. No crack on it or any issues at the beginning of the day, use it for an hour and suddenly the mic starts dangling near my face*. I turn the light on to examine it and a screw falls out of the casing and I see a small crack that wasn’t there earlier. Still haven’t bought a replacement since if it’s only going to last less than 5 months, what’s the point?
