Xbox Wireless Headset PC auto shutoff

So far I like this headset but a couple annoyances. I'm assuming these things will get fixed with firmware updates since this thing is brand new. Or maybe I am missing something.

1. Can I turn off auto shutoff. After a few minutes of not doing anything they will shutoff on my head. You hear that sound. Then you have to double click and get the on sounds which are super loud and the volume dial doesn't adjust it. So everytime it auto shut offs I am taking the headset off, pressing the button twice, and waiting to hear the startup sounds. I only use this on PC, I rarely ever shutoff my headset, no reason to. I'd like them to make that a togglable feature.

2.Any kind of spatial sound flat isn't working in games. Constantly cutting out. I know that has already been addressed in another question on here.

3. Would be nice to assign a different app or input to the left earcup thing. I mostly use discord so assigning it to discord/game instead of xbox party chat/game would be nice. Or set it for blutooth/game.

I couldn't agree more on point #1. I also really like the headset, but the auto shutoff is annoying. Please make it something that can be switched on or off in the Xbox Accessories app or on the console.

I found another annoyance. When I use the headset for conference calling or music...when powering it on...it automatically switches the Xbox on. I understand this is cool for when I game....but annoying as hell when using as day to day. Unless someone knows how to untoggle this feature as still need to power the controller on

Yes, you can use the Xbox One wireless headset chat mixer on PC if you have the USB wireless adapter.

To do this, you will need to follow these steps:

Connect the USB wireless adapter to your PC.
Turn on your Xbox One wireless headset and hold down the power button on the headset until it starts flashing. This puts the headset in pairing mode.
Press the pairing button on the USB wireless adapter until the LED starts flashing.
Once the LED on the USB wireless adapter stops flashing and stays lit, the headset is paired with your PC.
Open the Xbox Accessories app on your PC, and click on the "Xbox One Wireless Controller" device.
From there, you can adjust the chat mixer settings to your liking.

Once you have completed these steps, you should be able to use the chat mixer on your Xbox One wireless headset with your PC.
