    Xbox Wireless Headset on PC


    I recently bought the Xbox Wireless Headset. However, I have issues using it on my PC. It has two options in the sounds menu. There’s the stereo option and the handsfree option. If I use the Dolby Atmos app with it, which seems to be advertised for it by Microsoft, I need to be in the stereo mode. However, when in stereo mode, the microphone won’t work on Xbox Game Bar. I also tried to play warzone and the audio would not work. If I switch the handsfree, the quality drops.

    I found a way to disable the handsfree and get stereo to work on Warzone, however, the mic stops working again. Then there’s no easy switch between the two.

    How could I get them to work with Dolby Atmos, and still use the mic?

    Oh no, I mean. Bluetooth 4.2, Bluetooth 5.0 etc.
    Unfortunately Wireless Headset can be a bit tricky or not work as intended on PCs with a lower Bluetooth version.

    I was checking a similar thread, it seems this issue is solved using the Xbox Wireless adapter or connecting directly the headset via USB, on PC the wireless headset have some issues when you want to use sound and microphone at the same time
