Xbox Wireless Headset - Microphone not functional

I believe that the headset included only functions as a microphone.

All of that was rather a lot for me to even comprehend, sorry about that. Though I'm kinda thinking that last thing that you said, that they could probably patch it. All I really know is that with the WarHead the headset and
(and presumingly microphone too when plugged into the headset) comes factory synced with its base station. When you press the sync button on the headset you're pairing the base station to the console, and prsumingly the headset, seeings as how the microphone
plugs directly into the headsert itself. Yeah, I get that the way that the new/current wired headset plugged into the wireless controller are on a new protocl, but were the XBox 360 wir;less controller and wired headset really any different? That's why I
specified that at some point down the road if they decide to make a wireless headset, which is highly probable/presumable, then I don't see why either a patch couldn't be done or an appropriate adaptor so that maybe the WarHead microphone can wireless sync
to the console, despite that it needs to be plugged into the headset to sync with the base station so it can pefform its normal function. Now unless someone can come say in the forums here"The microphone indicator doesn't turn on proving it's at least trying
to function (just simply incompatible, however)", I really don't see why it couldn't be applied.

Are you having issues with the controller not connecting or with the microphone?

If it is the microphone, is it wired or wireless?

Yes, the USB port do stay on to power as most people who play on the Xbox will charge their accessories after using the console such as the Wireless Microphone or battery pack. I personally charge my phone, wireless microphone and headset off the console
with no issues.

Hello, FUZYBUNNY! Unfortunately the 360 wireless headset will not work with the Xbox One. There are currently no Bluetooth adapters for the Xbox One so a Bluetooth headset will not function. Currently the only 100% wireless headsets for the Xbox One are
the TurtleBeach Stealth 420X, 500X, and 800X.
