Xbox Wireless Headset - Even though it says no update available, it's always downloading...

There are currently no bluetooth headsets available for Xbox One. There are a number of wireless headset options on the market though. The Xbox 360 Wireless chat headset would not work with it.

Yeah. I tried that. It says no updates are available.

Of note, I thought my Xbox Stereo headset had died so I bought one of the wireless TurtleBeach headsets that don't plug into the controller.

It doesn't work on any of the 3 consoles either.

Even though the newer Xbox One controllers have Bluetooth built in, there is no way to bind a Bluetooth Headset to them.

You're currently limited to the standard wired headsets, that go to the controller, or special wireless headsets that are specifically licensed to the Xbox like for example these

Have you had the update yet? try using the ethernet cable just to download it. Im not sure if it fixes any of these issues as i havent tried it with wireless since updating. Although it does say that it resolves issues with wireless connectivity amongst
other problems.

Shouldn't need an update though, it should just plug in and work, even if it was 20p nevermind £430!!!

I'm personally waiting for a Wireless headset there isn't 1 wireless headset on the market they all say they wireless but have this rediculous cord going from headset to controller which seems to always catch on something and cause strangling or breakage
of cord i have somehow broken 2 headsets that came with the One cause of a silly cord to controller, bring back the Microsoft Wireless Headset .
