    Xbox Wireless Headset Dropping Out


    Bought an Xbox Wireless headset to replace a Stealth 700 Gen 2 which kept dropping out.

    This new headset drops out every 10-15 seconds and reconnects.

    I had this replaced under warranty yet it does exactly the same thing. I have tried restarting both my Xbox and the headset, re-pairing them both and ensuring both have been fully updated but still the same issue.

    Any ideas?

    Also my Elite Series 2 which has also just been replaced under warranty does the same thing but does doesn’t connect anywhere near as much.

    It's also due to risk of drop-out that they don't use wireless, same with there headsets

    Xbox Wireless Headset issues on PC

    This might be a long shot, but I had quite a lot of connection drops with the headset and the wireless adapter. Turns out that disabling bluetooth in windows fixed the problem, I've got no clue why. If i enable it again -> connection drops every few minutes again. Bluetooth on the headset itself was not used, only the wireless adapter.

    I'm using the Xbox Wireless Headset with the Xbox Wireless Adapter for windows 10 PCs and I am experiencing the audio cutting/dropping out while playing games. I updated the headset to the new firmware with the accessories app, but while playing various games (The Crew 2, Cyberpunk 2077, CKIII) I have experienced the audio dropping out. I've gone through some troubleshooting steps with Microsoft, but so far nothing has worked.



    I've tried hard resetting the headset (more than once), but the problems seem to persist. Not really sure what to do at this point, other than returning the headphones to the store.
