  1. Xbox Wireless Headset Connecting Via Bluetooth Issues

When connecting via bluetooth I see in my sound control panel two devices one being labeled Headset Earphone (Xbox Wireless Headset Hands-Free AG Audio) and Speakers (Xbox Wireless Headset Stereo). The problem I am having is that when I want to use the mic along with the headphone's speakers it switches the headset into a mono audio channel that can't be configured which is the Headset Earphone device while the Speaker device is stereo and can take advantage of spatial sound settings. I've updated firmware of the headset along with making sure all audio related drivers are updated. I even did a clean install of windows 10 because I was getting some corrupted files when doing and sfc scannow. Tried enabling stereo mix in the recording section of the sound control panel to no avail. Anyone have a similar issue and the fix for it.

    :)

    Hi Diabelnyy,

Unfortunately it's not possible to connect your headset via Bluetooth, unless your headset or headphones have built in Bluetooth. If the headset's are Bluetooth capable, then you would need to set them up via your PC's Bluetooth settings, but I'm not sure
if you can have multiple devices connected via Bluetooth at the same time.

You would need to directly connect the headset to your PC via the 3.5 mm audio port. Connecting into the controller will not work unless you are playing on an Xbox One console.

The Xbox wireless controller adapter for PC will not work in trying to connect a headset via Bluetooth.

Oh no, I mean. Bluetooth 4.2, Bluetooth 5.0 etc.
Unfortunately Wireless Headset can be a bit tricky or not work as intended on PCs with a lower Bluetooth version.

I was checking a similar thread, it seems this issue is solved using the Xbox Wireless adapter or connecting directly the headset via USB, on PC the wireless headset have some issues when you want to use sound and microphone at the same time

Hi carty1974! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

The Xbox Accessories app does not currently support headset connections via Bluetooth. To manage your Xbox Wireless Headset settings on your PC, connect the headset via the USB-C cable, or using the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.

If you are talking about, connecting you iPhone 4 to your Xbox 360 Bluetooth Headset, follow this link..

The Xbox 360 Console, doesn't support Bluetooth & only the Wireless Bluetooth Headsets are capable of a Bluetooth connection to Bluetooth Devices etc..

You will need to use your Apple USB cable to connect to the Xbox 360 Console..

    Hi Fellow gamer,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have issue connecting the controller. Unfortunately, the controller is most likely not compatible to the receiver. In the

    guide for connecting controllers
states what it will connect to.

    • The Xbox Wireless Controller can connect via Bluetooth to many PCs, tablets, laptops, and VR/AR headsets. However, reliability is dependent on the device’s Bluetooth card and experiences may vary.
    • Bluetooth does not support any attachments, such as headsets, chatpads, or the Xbox Stereo Headset Adapter

    Hope this helps.

    Brad
