    Xbox wireless headset bricked after update!


    I’m on the latest alpha build and got prompted to update my Xbox wireless headset when I turned it on. The update completed as normal on the screen.

    After finishing however the headset will now no longer turn on at all. I tried plugging the headset in with the cable and nothing…The charging light doesn’t even come on. I saw a reset procedure online where you hold the power and mute buttons while plugging it in and that didn’t do anything either. It is completely dead and won’t respond to anything.

    Is there any way to rectify this myself? It appears the warranty is only 90 days so if that is the case it is expired for me but the headset was working perfectly until doing this update.

    Turtle Beach Stealth 700 stopped working

    The controller is wireless, the headset is wireless- bluetooth. The headset has worked fine for almost two years, but after the update yesterday to call of duty it does not work anymore.

    My wireless MS headset will disconnect me From live anytime I try to turn it on during a game. This has never happen before and I'm not sure what's causing it yet. My sons Xbox will freeze up for 3 seconds when he turns his on but he doesn't get disconnected.
    I'm not sure if the update has done this or not. @ironskull86 just so you know there have Been numerous claims as well with Ps3's getting bricked after a update.

    What of these do you had?

    - Xbox 360 Wireless Headset with Bluetooth support.xbox.com/.../set-up-bluetooth-wireless-headset

    - Xbox 360 Wireless Headset

    One of the suggestions (any of the troubleshoot says anything about loosing the LIVE connection) is yo check there's not metal objects near you and the console, also had the headset charged and be "close" to the console to get a good signal of the headset
    and stuff.

    Also maybe is an update that could be missing, I suggest clearing the cache and then turn on the headset and if there's an update just do it and check if you can play properly.
