Xbox Wireless Headset and Mira Box

I have a Mira Box capture card to record/stream Xbox content through OBS. After recording for a bit, I realized I am only getting my Party audio and game audio, not my Mic. I am using an official Xbox mic, and don't want to have to record it with my phone. Is there a setting I need to change in Xbox or OBS?

    :)

Xbox Wireless Headset and Mira Box

Hi and thanks for reaching Microsoft Xbox gamer's community. My name is Josef.
I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Xbox user like you.

Hope you're doing great today despite this Kai

Depending on your setup you may need an audio splitter or not.

In the meantime, could you try this:

"If you using a external game capture like an Elgato you will have to turn the party chat to speaker and headset. To do this go to, Settings > General > Volume & audio output. If you are using the build in capture tools in the console from my testing I was not able to get it to record party chat as well. But you can try doing the same thing as for a external and see if it works for you"

Anyone else extremely bummed out there's no wireless headset?

Xbox 360 back then in 2006 when I had the box it was a wired headset they didn't include the wireless headsets until the S model came in 2010

    Howdy!

The headset should come with everything you need. The wireless headset models typically connect directly to the console and not through the controller.

If the headset that you want lists a wireless transmitter in the contents of the box, then you'd plug the transmitter into one of the USB ports on your console.

Some wireless headsets use the Xbox's built-in Wi-Fi Direct system and do not need a wireless transmitter. They sync up directly with the console (in the same manner that the controller does.)

Xbox live keep disconnect and NAT type moderate

This may or may not sound a little out of the box, but if you use Wireless turtle beach headsets, try unplugging the USB and moving the TB wireless adapter away from the xbox.

No you cannot. You can use a 3-pole headset/microphone that jacks into the controller

Anything USB or wireless has to be marked on the box that it is made for Xbox
