  1. Xbox wireless headphone connection problem

I've had to hard reset my headphones 5 times in the last hour because they keep disconnecting or my series X (it's in alpha) can't connect to them but my controller works fine, I don't know if it's the insider update from the 12th or a bug with the headphone update because it keeps happening to my Xbox and then when I connect them to my phone it makes them turn off. I reported it in the app but I just wanted to see if more anyone else had this problem

Is there a way to use unoficial wireless headphones

You can connect wireless headphones if it's made or compatible with an Xbox console. It will be shown on the headphone's product page.

Why can i connect my usb headset to my Xbox series s

Hi there Eric, my name is Gerardo, and I'm an Xbox player, just like you. I'll be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

I'm sorry to inform you that it is not possible to use headphones that connect via USB on Xbox consoles. This is mainly because the USB ports on the console are not designed for audio transfer; they are intended for data transfer to external storage devices and providing power to other devices such as Xbox controllers.

The only way to use wired headphones on Xbox consoles is through headphones that connect directly to the 3.5mm port on the controllers.

On the other hand, the only way to connect wireless headphones to the console is by using the official Xbox Wireless Headphones or licensed wireless headphones that utilize Xbox wireless technology (and that they are labeled as "Designed for Xbox" on their box). They connect natively to the console's wireless technology without using a USB dongle, meaning they pair with the console similar to pairing a new Xbox controller.

I appreciate you understanding and if you have further questions please let me know.

    Kind regards,
    Gerardo.

My Xbox Mic will not work?

Hello Edward,my name is Marvina, I will be happy to help you.

I'm so sorry for what you're going through, make sure the headset you're using is compatible with Xbox.

Wired headsets must have a 3.5mm jack, and wireless headsets must be compatible with Xbox Wireless.

If headphones are supported, make sure they are properly connected to the console.

Wired headphones should be connected to the 3.5mm headphone port on the front of the console.

The wireless headset must be connected to the console using the Xbox Wireless adapter.

Once you've verified that the headset is connected correctly, make sure the microphone is enabled in the console settings. To do this, go to Settings > Devices and accessories > Headphones. Make sure the Microphone switch is on.

If the microphone still doesn't work, you can try restarting the console. To do this, press and hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds.

Try the headset on another Xbox console. If they work on another console, the problem may be with your console.

Try other headsets on your console. If they work with other headphones, the problem may be with your headphones.

Update your console firmware. To do this, go to Settings > System > Console information > Update console.

I hope I have answered your question correctly, I wish you a Merry Christmas.

    Sincerely,
    Marvina.
