Xbox Wireless Display App

Hi

When using the Wireless Display app on my Xbox my phone is unable to see the Xbox when attempting to setup screen cast. Same issue on two phones so issue seems to be with Xbox. Any ideas?

It might be that your Xbox console is setup on another network, or maybe your phones wifi is turned off. These are simple actions to take but are usually the cause of misfortune. If your wifi network is connected all the right way. Run a network diagnostic
check through the xbox and make sure it is running up to par. Then attempt again. Hope this helps.

Hi Jfate,

Both are connected to the same wireless network and WiFi is active on my phone. Will run check on Xbox connection to double check.

The Wireless display app is to do the opposite
Project an android or PC screen to the Xbox

In order to use it on your Android device you need to use the sharing screen feature included in your mobile phone (usually the option is in your notification center)
