  2. Pricing: Xbox One Controller

It's confirmed that the Xbox One Wireless Controllers will be 60 dollars, and if they're anything like Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers, they'll remain the same price throughout the console's lifespan. Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers are just expensive as they were when things started.

Are all Xbox One Controllers going to be Wireless?

    Yes, but also no.

Every Xbox One controller is wireless. However, when you plug it in via USB it becomes wired and sends the signal via wire instead of wireless (while also charging batteries, if you are using the charge-pack - or in the case of your question, it's using the power via cable instead of the batteries).

This is in contrast to how Xbox 360 controllers work. X360 has both wireless and wired. An X360 wireless controller when plugged in via USB is still sending the signal wireless, but is getting power via the USB. This is why you can't plug an Xbox 360 wireless controller via USB into your computer and have it work, because the controller is still sending a wireless signal.

This makes the Xbox One controllers great for both Xbox One and PC gaming, because you don't need to buy a 'wired' controller for it to work on the PC, you can just plug it in via USB and it'll send the signal via USB instead. I'm really glad Microsoft did this.

As for the battery indicator on the taskbar, that can be a pretty good idea. I'd recommend you submit it to the Windows Feedback app: Get Feedback Hub - Microsoft Store The developers look at that feedback closely and regularly.

But in terms of the connection issue, It's working as intended, and I'd recommend submitting your suggestion to feedback.xbox.com

I can understand it's annoying, but they designed the Xbox One controller to be smart enough to recognize when it's plugged in via USB and send the controller signal over that wired connection, and to avoid double input controls, it 'kills' the BT connection.
Now, usually you can have automatic BT connections reconnect, like my phone auto connects to my car BT, but since BT is a tertiary connection method, after primary controller to Xbox wireless connection method and USB connection method, it doesn't default
back to the BT connection. So I'm not sure if they would need to make new hardware to default to BT connection, or if they could set that configuration in the Xbox Accessories app, but either way, the best method to relay your idea to Microsoft is through
    the feedback programs.

Is it possible to use the "Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10" on an XBOX One to Connect Wireless Controllers?

You probably mean the right thing, but the Xbox One does not use Bluetooth to connect controllers wirelessly, but a Xbox specific wireless communication protocol.

Since the console has this wireless protocol built into the special wireless module already, the Xbox One doesn't support the USB wireless connector.

    Try the

    Controller xbox360 per pc

    Hi,

Unfortunately unlike the Xbox One controllers, the wireless Xbox 360 controllers remain wireless regardless of whether you connect them to a PC with a Play and Charge. You can't make an Xbox 360 wireless controller a wired controller.

If you want to use your 360 wireless controller on a PC you'll need to buy an Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows.
