Xbox Wireless Controller - Sport Blue Special Edition Vibration Motor Issue

Hey,

So i tried to use a cable on my pc,

updated the firmware and I still had the same result while playing.

After that I downloaded the controller tester from the windows app store.

My conclusion:

The vibrations works fine when the vibration is strong and there is no issue

however as soon the vibrations are suddle and weak there is a very bad noise

that lets me think this device will die in the next few days.

Got to claim a rma unfortunately and wait longer for the controller :/

Xbox Wireless Controller – Sport Blue Special Edition is what the purchase order says. It has silicon grips on the back. Really nice controller. I have updated the controller as stated as soon as it was out of the

My only issue with the controller is it vibrates like crazy, like 10x more than how the Xbox 360 wireless controller for my Xbox 360 slim console vibrates, especially when playing Forza 5 and Zoo Tycoon (driving buggy like a bad driver). It's probably because
of the motor things inside the controller. It would be nice if M could come up with a Dashboard software setting which decreases the vibration.

I'm assuming you are referring to the Sport Red Special Edition controller. The dots inside the face buttons merely designate the colors of the corresponding buttons on a standard controller. Since all of the face buttons are red on that specific controller,
the four dots are just an added feature to indicate what the original colors of the buttons are. On a standard controller Y is yellow, B is red, A is green, and X is blue. They have no special functionality, they are just part of the controllers design. The
Sport Blue Special edition controller follows the same design.
