    Xbox Wireless Adapter Headset Problems


    Hi!

    I have a problem with my Xbox Wireless Adapter. I just switched laptops and everything was fine with my old one. But with the new one my Turtle Beach 600 wireless headset keeps "disconnecting".

    When I´m listening to something everything is fine, but if I pause for like a minute and then try to resume, the headset stops working. The headset is not really disconnected though, the connection LEDs on the adapter and the headset are still on and not blinking and also Windows reports, that the headset is connected.

    When I try to play a Youtube video or listen to a song on spotify, I get a report, that the video/song can´t be played.

    I checked if I have all the drivers installed and also tried letting the device wake the PC from sleep in the device manager.

    Help is very much appreciated!

    Windows 10 use requires Bluetooth 4.2+, Xbox Wireless adapter or compatible USB-C cable. Each sold separately, explaining why both the adapter and cable weren't included with the headset.

    But there is no problem when playing on any Xbox. Only on PC. I have updated FW of Xbox Wireless Headset and connected with Xbox Wireless adapter...

    I have the same problem ,

    The headset must connect with the xbox one s as wireless, but the wrotw that must looking for another adapter.

    So but the headset with playstation is ok , and it connect with usp wireless...

    Is your Headset connected to an xbox wireless adapter? Or do you have one from corsair?

    Today I've tested the Xbox Wireless Headset on my Xbox One X with Dolby Atmos activated and had no problems in CoD: Warzone.

    I use a Macbook Pro 16 with Intel Hardware. The problem is, that the Bitrate for Bluetooth is not enough. You have 16 Bit for recieve and send data. The Sounds are terrible, when you use both channels. The Xbox Wireless Adapter can use a higher bandwith and you have clear sound and voice. That is the difference between bluetooth and the xbox wireless adapter. I have the problem with all Bluetooth headsets. The Bluetooth standard is not intended for listening and speaking. That's why other manufacturs use an usb-adapter to connect Headsets with the mac or other systems like Linux or Windows. The basic idea was, to use the xbox wireless headset for phone calls over a VOIP Software on Mac. Now I need two different wireless headsets.
