xbox wireless adapter gets hot

is it normal if it gets hot when i use it because i have the feeling its gonna break the adapter

they do get warm but should not be red hot.

have you got it plugged into a usb 3 port or usb 2.

if in a usb 3 port switch to a usb 2 as it could be drawing to much power.

Gabriel can you try disconnecting the wireless adapter and open the app?
If that works, connect the wireless adapter with the app opened.

By the way, is this wireless adapter the Xbox Wireless adapter? Or is a Bluetooth adapter?
