  1. Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows frequently disconnects all my controllers

The receiver disconnects all my controllers (4) at random times, not all at once, they die one by one. Also when I'm playing alone, the active controller disconnects, then I take another one, and then the next one, until i have none left. sometimes unplugging the receiver works out (very rarely), sometimes it doesn't. I've tried to re-pair, doesn't work, and controllers totally disappear from the Xbox accessory app.
on Xbox receiver adapter driver -> Power Management, I've disabled the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
In EventViewer, i found the following events that might have something to do with the issue:

Event 7040: The start type of the Xbox Live Game Save service was changed from demand start to auto start

Event 16: The access history in hive \??\C:\ProgramData\Packages\Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay_8wekyb3d8bbwe\S-1-5-21-1181778499-2097647229-2128309989-1001\SystemAppData\Helium\Cache\32734fbc8d5358eb_COM15.dat was cleared updating 1 keys and creating 1 modified pages

Event 16: The access history in hive \??\C:\Users\USER1\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.GamingApp_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Settings\settings.dat was cleared updating 4 keys and creating 2 modified pages.

I can't figure out the solution, but one thing that can make it work again 100%, is a reboot, and that's not a real solution. I couldn't figure out how to delete the "settings.dat" file, cause it was used by another (Unknown) process. But if a restart makes it work again, then what memory/cache/settings gets refreshed/restarted/flushed that makes it happen

    :)

Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows frequently disconnects all my controllers

    Hello Mohammed El-Kalash,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

I can see that you are having issues with your receiver and controllers. This sounds like a frustrating situation.

There are a few possible causes for this problem, such as low battery level, wireless interference, or faulty hardware. To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:

    - Make sure your controllers have fresh batteries or are fully charged.

    - Move your receiver and controllers closer to your console and away from any sources of wireless interference, such as routers, microwaves, or cordless phones.

    - Update your receiver and controllers firmware using the Xbox Accessories app on your console or PC.

    - Reset your receiver by pressing and holding the pairing button for 10 seconds, then release it. The LED on the receiver should flash rapidly.

    - Re-pair your controllers to the receiver by pressing and holding the pairing button on both devices until they sync. The LED on the controller and receiver should turn solid.

Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows frequently disconnects all my controllers

Hello, thank you for your reply.

My controllers are always charged, and even if they go out, re-pairing isn't a problem once batteries are changed. Its the random complete disappearance from the system. My controllers are up to date, and the receiver is also updated as long as my windows is. If there is any radio interference, would that make communication completely out of the question? why is it only a restart of my whole system, the only thing capable of fixing this issue? is it the receiver, or is it windows, that's what i'm trying to figure out

    Xbox controller disconnecting constantly?

If you’re having trouble with your Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows, it could be because the adapter drivers didn’t auto-install, the adapter stopped responding, your controller won’t connect or frequently
disconnects from your adapter, or because there’s interference between the controller and adapter.
Try fixing it with these troubleshooting solutions. Make sure your Windows 10 device is up to date, and try unplugging the device, restarting, and plugging it back in. Make sure your controller is in
range of the adapter. You can also move any objects between the controller and the adapter out of the way, and keep the adapter away from metal so there’s less interference. For more solutions, check out “Learn more” below.
