Xbox Wired Problem

I would like to ask if someone could help me solve a very unusual problem with Xbox Wired headphones. Since some unknown date, my headphones have been sounding worse for over a year and a half, today I bought the same ones and when I connected them, they sounded just as bad, but when I put mine on, they work fine. First I plugged mine and then the new ones, it looks as if the damaged sound from my headphones transferred to the new ones. How is this possible and what could have caused it?

Have you tried to connect the phones to another controller?

Does this also happen with other devices? (Mobile, computer, etc.)

Yeah I went ahead and refunded both my controllers and bought a wireless one. Thanks for the reply!

Hi

It does sound like your Ethernet port is broken if you have tried different cables, different ports on the router and direct to the modem (if applicable) it would have to be a Microsoft Repair I'm afraid, or replacement.

I'd suggest buying a wireless one and buy the play and charge kit

if you do then its the router.
