    Is there ever going to be an Xbox app for windows 10 that actually WORKS? The Xbox console companion app was completely garbage, messages wouldn't send, no notifications so you couldn't get party invites (which made the looking for group
    feature impossible to use on pc), and half the time you couldn't even view your friends list without a loading screen that seemed to never end. Now this new Xbox app is out, which I was pumped for. Turns out its just as broken. You need the game bar app to
    join parties and the game bar application doesn't even launch. Like come on man, how many more years until we have a functioning Xbox app for windows 10. And don't try to say "It's just your system" or "The problem is on your end" because there are thousands
    of forum posts, reddit posts, and bad reviews on the Microsoft store stating the same exact things I'm talking about.

    You can't change a gamertag into a previously owned one but you could sign in to the Windows 10 Xbox app with the old one though.

    Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, you will need to click the install to download any digital content for PC.

    If you have a Windows 10 device, you can now use the Xbox app to connect to the Xbox Live service.
