Xbox windows 10 app server-connection shows up as blocked (None of the official solutions ...

The problem is simply that ONLY my server-connection on the PC windows 10 Xbox app shows up as "Blocked"



(German btw.)

At first it was just another Teredo error like I always get, this time after fixing it as per usual via cmd. I have tried everything I could think of but nothing worked, I have pretty good knowledge in windows so normaly that shouldn't be an issue, it is
this time.

After NONE of the official solutions worked I reached out to the support on twitter via PM the solution Mr. "^RR" came up with was to uninstall the app, power my PC down, reset the router, reinstall the app. I did that and got the regular Teredo error, after
fixing it I was back to where I was before. So it didn't work and so it happens. I stayed optimistic and tried a second time. Same thing as before. At this point I wrote the Twitter support that it didn't work. What I did then, on my own, is I made an image
of my current windows and stored ist seperadly on an external drive, reinstalled windows to see if that would help, I even unplugged every drive except my main drive. Same issue... no teredo error this time but still... blocked connection -.-

Ich put my image back on so I wouldn't have to reinstall everything again (which I did, I reinstalled windows just 2 months ago for routine)

The Twitter support didn't get back to me until I wrote them a second time. This time I wrote them that I reinstalled windows to see if that helps. Finally I got a response... saying that I should visit this certain link, (the support link) and now I am
here hoping to finally get a working solution. It worked before and I don't see any reason anymore why it won't work.

I just want to play Forza with my friends and now this

(Before I get the "solution", my router is fine, I just checked for a firmware update but im on the newest version... probably because I just got that router about 4 months ago (and yes ist worked before with this router))

Excuse me but I already tried everything. I even wrote so, here. "After NONE of the official solutions worked..." With that I mean I tried every guide there is about any connection error in the Xbox app, from troubleshoot party over troubleshoot multiplayer
to the one you linked here.

 

Thank you for your reply. We suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app on your computer. please follow the instructions and check if it helps:



    1. Type Windows Powershell in search box.



    2. Right click on Windows Powershell and select Run as administrator.



    3. Copy and paste the following command.

         get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxApp* | remove-appxpackage 

    4. Press Enter key.



After uninstalling the Xbox app, I suggest you to download and install the app again and check. You can download the Xbox app from the following

link.

Well, I did that once already but I did it again anyway aaand I still have the same issue.

Teredo wasn't working again but I know the process to get it to work through cmd. (Wich is also in the official guide)

((Normaly that should also fix the connection error, and it did a while back. But exactly that's the issue I am having, it doesn't anymore))

 

Thanks you for responding. To isolate network connectivity issue, see the questions below:

3. Have you tried connecting via wired network?

2. Have you tried to connect to a different network?

If different connection and wired connection does not work, the best resort is to get in touch with your Internet Service Provider to resolve network issues.

I AM FREAKING OUT!!! I was going around different threads about the issue tried everything I didn't try before and now it works.

The thing is THE GOD DAMN FIX WAS SETTING MY PC IN MY NETWORK TO BE DISCOVERABLE... (Sorry for caps)

I can't belive I didn't think about that... but hey it works now
