Xbox will not work, tried many things.

Hello. As my title suggests, my Xbox has been refusing to work for a while. It started a few days ago when Minecraft and other things wouldn’t open/ would freeze up. Then, the Xbox would randomly stop working. It would completely freeze up and be unresponsive. Yesterday, I tried turning it on and got this screen

I tried restarting my Xbox, and resetting it while saving my data. Nothing worked, and when it turned back on it would be at this screen. I looked it up and did things the official Xbox support article said, and it didn’t work. Is there anyway to fix this without sending it to repair/deleting all data and it possible still not working? I’m really hoping I can keep my things because I don’t know if anyway of transferring Minecraft worlds across different xbox, and don’t know if it will be saved across accounts because windows 10 edition had none of my worlds. Thanks in advance!

Edit: adding possibly useful info. Xbox One S, four years old in November, shuts down automatically after a bit of time.

Hello! Thanks for responding! I tried the steps on the website it shows on the “something went wrong” screen. I haven’t tried updating it via USB, mainly because I don’t have one. I could try to get one soon, and then try it. If not, I might be getting a new Xbox for Christmas, if I use my account on it will it bring the error screen up? Thanks for telling me about the cloud saves

So, I got a new Xbox. I had instant sign in on the one that broke, does that interfere with setting up the new one with my account in any way?

Unfortunately, if the offline update (OSU1) doesn’t resolve the issue and both reset options don’t help either, then the only other option would be a repair or replacement. As per the Forum Guidelines, self-repair can’t be advised here (otherwise, I would’ve tried to assist with replacing the internal components).

Microsoft/Xbox no longer officially repair Xbox One S consoles and out-of-warranty service costs can be expensive anyway:

If you send your console to a third party repair store, just be sure to go to a trusted and reputable one with genuine Microsoft replacements that are compatible for your country/region. Considering all the time and costs involved, it would probably be more ideal (generally cheaper) to just purchase another console - perhaps upgrade to the Series X|S if possible.

(Also, how do I save games from an Xbox to a drive if I can’t get into settings? Sorry)
