Xbox will not start anything. No apps, not even media player offline.

Recently, we ran into a payment issue with our internet provider. Ive been trying to use my xbox offline for a couple of days and everytime I try to start an app, it tells me its taking too long to start. Ive been trying to use my media player to watch movies
and it wont load. Even my settings, rarely load.

What can I do to fix this? Ive hard reset the console a dozen times and im getting impatient as well as bored trying to fix it. I would love any help I can get.

Hi KKOC,

Sorry for the issue with no apps or games starting. When you selected offline, were you connected to the internet? If you aren't this will cause issues as the change wasn't done correctly. If you have a hot spot on your phone connect to that then select
go offline. This is why you are getting the error. It is trying to locate save data on the cloud or updates, but is unable to due to no internet.

Hey there, Have you tried a full system reset, beyond just the unplug-replug process?

So do i and streaming works fine.

I had to allow streaming to xbox one in windows media player then leave windows media player and the media player app on x1 running for a few minutes before it started working.

Thanks for taking the time to help me, I will not use more than twelve characters. Could you help with the stand alone media player that works offline. I rarely use xbox live my old xbox had the additional player that worked offline my new xbox 360 wont
play media files offline despite downloading the stand alone player

Ok, using DLNA I can add my NAS on XBOX media centre. However I can't open anything because the Media Player app doesn't ask for the login or password.
