    Hello,

    Recently I've run into an issue regarding the controller I am currently using. I go onto the xbox website to request a replacement, and when I went to enter the serial number of the controller, it kept giving the message 'we couldn't find that serial number'.
    I have tried the serial numbers of multiple of my controllers (Yes, I've been using the number/letter combination that is under the barcode on the controller) and it fails to recognize any of the controllers that I have inputted. Is this an issue with the
    website, or has the serial number system suddenly changed? I am trying to see if I can request a replacement controller as soon as possible.

    Devices page doesn't recognize serial number

    It says "We didn't recognize this serial number" and I got the number from behind the battery and from the box the controller came in

    Thanks for the reply but it requires Surface, Xbox, or Accessory serial number since there's no option for PC Serial Number.

    It does not recognize my pc serial number but it needs Surfare , Xbox or Accessory serial number
    im trying to add my pc to the device

    Bought it around 2 years ago haven't used it much. I tried to register the controller number, it gave me "We did not recognize this serial number

    Check the serial number, then try logging in again..." I asked MS support agents about it, they told me that the controller is not supported anymore. I gave one agent the number they tried to register it to my account they couldn't.
