Xbox wants me to make a new account even though I have one?

Hi there welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Is this issue happening on the Xbox app? If so, I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!

Unfortunately it didn't work. I tried to turn it off for longer than 5 minutes and this didn't work too.

It really is a very strange error, you can't log in with your Xbox account, I suggest you turn your router off for 5 minutes and turn it back on and see if you can log in.

He cant get it on. When ever we put in his info the xbox makes him a whole new account. And we tried it several time but it does the same thing.
