    Xbox Video trouble on Windows Surface Rt tablet


    Up until about a month ago I was enjoying movies offline from this app and now I can't get in. It shows me all available movies but when I try to purchase it won't sign in. The top right corner just keeps showing it loading to sign in but never goes through.
    Occasionally it will tell me Xbox has an issue and to try again later but it never works, any suggestions?

    The Surface tablet line is not XBOX specific. The first Surface runs an ARM version of Windows called Windows RT. The Surface Pro will run regular x86/x64 Windows 8.

    I am using the windows surface 2 RT tablet is it on that yet because I can't find it in the store

    Hey Lmunguia!

    Sorry you're having trouble signing into the Video app! Have you made sure to update all apps on your device as well as the OS? The app should be now labeled as Microsoft Video & TV, if it's showing as Xbox Video this may be why you're having trouble signing
    in.

    If updating the app doesn't help, what is the exact error that you're receiving?

    Sorry you're having trouble signing into the Video app! Have you made sure to update all apps on your device as well as the OS? The app should be now labeled as Microsoft Video & TV, if it's showing as Xbox Video this may be why you're having trouble signing
    in.

    There are two versions of Windows 8 tablets. The standard Surface tablet's run Windows 8RT. The RT version is for tablets running on ARM based processors. The easiest way to compare them is with Android and iPad devices. They can't be upgraded, and can
    only apps designed specifically for RT. They don't run Windows programs for PC's.

    Surface Pro are Intel X86 based machines, they run the desktop version of Windows 8 and can run PC based applications. As long as they have USB ports, they should support Xbox 360 controllers.
