Xbox Video subscriptions now working on all platforms?

It works. It does actually work on Xbox - I see small video preview of myself on TV, the problem is that the person I'm connected to via Skype doesn't see a thing. I've tried with several clients on different platforms (Windows 10, 7, Android). I see them
but they don't. And of course they don't have any problems at all with Skype video while talking to other people on usual platforms (not Xbox).

It is an interesting concept but personally I don't want multiple subscriptions. I'd like to have one subscription that gives me access to many games across all publishers.

Sadly it'll probably end up with the abomination we have with video streaming services. They're used to be one of two, now every studio has their own and removed their content from other platforms so you need to pay a lot for many subscriptions to get access
to varied content.

you need a subscription on nintendo switch to play online too. and if it was a cod game then you need an activision account and this applies to all platforms.

the only platforms where it does not cost to play online is ps3, pc.

and yes it can take a while to download games if your net is slow, but having to download games and updates have been this way for years now ON ALL platforms.

Exactly, it's like that in order to be on the xbox platform, they have to change their game code for it to work.

That makes no sense at all that a dev studio should drastically change its game code just to be able to work on a particular platform at the risk of creating bugs for their customer base

You would think that Microsoft would work hard to make it simple for developer in order to promote the xbox live platform whereas in fact it is not, and that it all comes down to "it's the fault of the dev of the game that it doesnt work on xbox live. It's their job now to fix the fact that it works on all other platform but not ours !!!!"

And as the previous poster said, we know you can't do anything about it, but at least, if you want to sell us this story, make it believable.

Sorry to say but when you purchase premium on a platform it only works on devices in the same platform.

For example, as you purchased the premium subscription on Windows you are not going to see ads on Windows

For each platform you need to get the premium subscription
