Xbox Video Spanish Version Frozen

Hi,

I tried to rent "Frozen (2013)" on xbox video.

When I selected it I was given a message:

This item is available in multiple languages, please select from the options below:

English and Frozen (2013)

I thought at this point there was a problem as one of the language options was "Frozen (2013)", but I selected English and rented.

The film started and began playing in spanish with the opening titles in spanish.

I rented this elswhere as I was given no options to fix this.

Any ideas on who to contact to get a refund for this?

Bo2 - Change language

does anyone here could tell me how to change the games on demand bo2 version?, i got a spanish version, but i want the english version, i live in mexico, so the spanish version would be logic, but i want the english version since the game sounds better.

and if this helps, i had the physicall disc, installed on my xbox, it was on english, after downloading the games on demand version, it turned into spanish, dlc isnt a problem since it was transfered from the english version to the spanish one (i had the
first 2 dlc's before my game dying to a serious case of this bacteria that destroyed the cd)

any help?

Hey guys, I also selected English and it played in Spanish. I was able to contact Xbox billing via phone call and received a refund. I didn't mention that this was a glitch because I thought I must've selected Spanish in error.

Does anyone know if I select "Frozen (2013)" instead of "English" that it will play in English?

 

The same exact this has happened to me. For my first time using Xbox Video, its tough to have anything good to say about it.

I was not given a language to select but there was nothing to suggest that the movie would be in Spanish. It is not a dubbing issue either since the title was called "Frozen: Una Aventura Congelada." It is just playing the down right Spanish version. Please
help.

 

I am waiting to speak with a Rep right now to see if there is a true English version on Xbox Video.

When I asked when it will be resolved, I was told via live chat: "No worries this issue will be resolve as soon as possible."

I am having the same problem as well. Rented the movie last night and it played fine. It even played well this morning. Now, it is in Spanish and an English version is not available to rent again. (Don't judge about the re-renting as I have a devastated
7 year old here singing "Let it Go" with her eyes tearing up.) I sure hope "soon as possible" means "before my kid starts to cry."

 

I hope this gets fixed soon.... Even the purchased version is Spanish now

 

Same thing happened to me. It never gave me an English or Spanish option. I just assumed it would be in English though.

 

Exact same thing is happening to me. I purchased Frozen when it came out on xbox video. I'm pretty sure this was before they gave you an option to choose the language/subtitles. I have watched it perfectly fine in English until just now.

 

anyone know if frozen is still playing in Spanish?

 

I just finished chatting with 'Magdalene' in Xbox customer support about this. I was told that the issue has been fixed. If you go on now, you should be able to watch in English. Since the issue has been fixed, they are not offering refunds, even if you
rented during the time when the Spanish language problem was ongoing. I explained that I was not satisfied with this, since it was unavailable at the time I wanted to watch it, but was told still no refund. I let them know that I will not be using Xbox video
again because of this. There are plenty of other options for streaming content out there.
