Xbox Video app for WP8/8.1 and Personal Videos

So, I have a ton of MP4 videos in my Camera Roll, but the Xbox Video app refuses to inventory them. What gives? I updated to the 2.6.154.0 update today, and still all my Personal Videos stored in the Camera Roll are not listed. If I move the videos from
\Phone\Pictures\Camera Roll to \Phone\Videos, they appear. This needs to be fixed.

XBOX Video - No Voice (All Other Audio Works Fine)

Was watching Falling Skies season 4 streamed on my Xbox One via the Video app. When I got up to episode 8, there was no voice track. The background music and sound effects could all be easily heard, but the spoken audio was not present. Episode 9 was fine,
episode 10 was voiceless though. Checking the problematic videos on my WP8 phone and on my Win 8.1 PC yielded the same problem.

Any ideas on how to get the voice working for those videos?

 

Xbox Video on Windows 8 Phone or PC

Xbox Video is not yet available on WP8 (but it was recently announced it will be very soon) and in order to watch from a PC you need Windows 8 or 8.1. Then you just go to the Xbox Video app and the purchase should be sitting there already, ready to be streamed
or downloaded (whichever is applicable).

Hi Chris, something worth checking. Have you got your camera roll folder added to your video collection library so the Video app will index them?

In the app, open the charms menu and click settings. Click Preferences and then at the top there is a link to include folders the app looks in to index videos.

 

@IRB, wrong OS. I wasn't talking about the Windows 8/8.1 app. I'm talking about the Windows PHONE 8.1 app not indexing the video in the Windows PHONE camera roll.
