    Xbox ventilation error "insufficient ventilation"


    My xbox one x has been randomly turning off due to a ventilation error this only happens when I play NBA 2K21 Blacktop game mode and I'm unsure why, there's no dust in the vents of the xbox and the surrounding area is clean and has no dust but this just occurs, this only occurs in a certain game mode for some reason and I'm unsure why this happens, there's a lot of space for the xbox but you can hear the Xbox's fan when playing other games and you can hear noises from the fans but there's no blockage in the exterior vents that are around the console

    This has been occurring since 27th March only on blacktop mode for NBA 2K21 and no other modes within the game and this also hasn't been occurring in any other games as well

    My xbox one is on a TV stand and the TV stand is open so there is room for the xbox to get air and to release heat so I'm unsure why this is happening

    Your console have overheating problems. May be change the place where you install your X360.

    All 4+ the blinking red dot. There's also a pretty good dust buildup in the system, and the fan may not be moving. (due to dust?)

    Hi there,

    Normally the fans in the console should be able to dispurse the heat created by the console without issues. As long as there is enough space around the console.

    And like mentioned by Irixion be aware that placing any coolerfan's etc near the console this can disrupt the airflow in the console which could even cause the console to overheat.

    Also be aware that any modification made to the console itself may not be discussed in the forums and may result in a console ban and will void any warranty and support
