Xbox updating problem. Please Help!

Have you tried updating the console first?

Once the console has been updated, relaunch the game and see how it goes from there.

Thanks wording, I've got it working now. I deleted the older update and the installed the update to USB from my computer. Thanks again

I have an xbox 360 slim ok so when test my xbox live connection it connects to everything but Xbox live then a message show saying that I have to update my xbox live and if I didn't update it won't connect to xbox live so I said yes and at the near end
of the update it xbox error plz give me a solution

Your console may still have a portion of the update in it. You would need to remove that first.

Try deleting your system update. It worked for me

Go to settings, system, storage and then highlight your hard drive (don't go in to hard drive)

Press LB, RB, X twice.

You should get a prompt that asks you to delete the system update.

Just accept that and your console should restart.

After the console restarts, you should be prompted to do the update again.

Sorry to hear about the issue. If the 4GB internal flash storage shows up unformatted, you will need to send the console in for repair. As far as preventing this specific issue from happening, there isn't much to do unfortunately. Think of it as a hard drive
