    XBOX Updates need to adopt a 'Download and install later' option.


    Nothing is more infuriating when you're in the middle of a game and suddenly out of nowhere you are forced to update your console or 'Skip and stay offline'.

    Not sure what the computer wizzardy or technicalities are that prevent Microsoft from integrating a 'Download and install later' option but from one disgruntled player to another, it would definitely be a welcome sight by many other players.

    If its slow to install games you just have to install offline or choose the "update later" option when you install. The X1 will download any updates as it installs your game, so it can take a while if the update is a large one.

    No worries... If u have hard drive connected remove it first then try to install. . One more convenient and best way to install the disc is to just insert the disc and when it asks if u want to install and update together .. In that option just use install
    and update later option. . Let the game finish installing and update the game after that... I too had few problems like that and this process solved it.

    You need to uninstall the game, and then reinstall Overwatch. When you get the prompt that asks you to update, choose to finish later. Finish the install, and after that - download the update.

    I always install discs in (go offline) mode the xbox one installs the game and the updates at the same time which makes it slow. If I buy digital I hit the option to install updates later it helps.

    Hello Dman, in the last image you sent you have the option to install Update for version 21H1, you need to install this update and then do the later security updates, after the PC restart check that there are updates of the Xbox App in the Microsoft store.
