Xbox update continues after 100%

Recently when I've tried to update a game on my xbox one x the update will reach 100% with no problem but then continue afterwards. I have tried unplugging my xbox, restarting it and pausing and unpausing my download and nothing has helped.

For example, I am trying to install a sea of thieves update and it hits 100% (14.87gb) and will continue going past that number. It will say 100% but say 15gb/14.87gb to then 15.1/14.87gb.

How do I fix this and stop it happening again?

Try to restore keeping games and apps, please be sure that you know your account email and password:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three option use this one, be sure you remember the email and password of you're accounts:

Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps

My Xbox One is experiencing the same problem with the FIFA 15 update. It is just stuck at 100% and continues switching between that and "Queueing". I wish I got a Ps4 or an xbox 360

have you DLed the newest update? if so even though there stand point is this new update cause's no problems for any xbox's after reading this forum with so many things all of a sudden not working right after they updated im not to sure this is 100% true
