Xbox Ultimate renewed this morning. I need that money

They ended unemployment and it costs the same as a week of groceries. It renewed two hours ago and there's no option to even call. I ended auto renewal, but am I seriously not allowed to cancel my subscription and get the prorated balance back? Even tinder does that. Way to be worse than tinder, Microsoft.

If you've already paid the year just make sure auto-renew is turned off and then buy a gold subscription when the Ultimate one ends.

If you want money back for the $180 you spent recently on an Ultimate membership, you'll need to reach out to support.

No, that was a promotion for upgrading to Game Pass Ultimate. What you need to do is renew your Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

Game pass Ultimate is different from Gold if your Gold subscription is expiring then need to renew.
