Xbox Ultimate Pass - EA Pass on PC - EA Desktop App with EA Pass from Xbox Ultimate Pass.

Alright, this is confusing I know, but I have XBOX Ultimate pass. I can play EA Pass on my Xbox, but I can't play it on PC...

"Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can enjoy EA Play on console now. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC members will receive EA Play on PC via the EA Desktop app (Beta) at no additional cost starting in December
2020."

I believe it is December 2020 right now... If I'm wrong I don't know where to ask a question anymore haha.

Anyway, I downloaded the EA Desktop application, the new one not just origin, and connected my EA account to my Xbox account that has Ultimate Pass. However now on the EA Desktop application, I do NOT
have access to EA Play. It asks for me to pay for the monthly subscription.

I should already receive the pass from Ultimate, no? I do on my Xbox why not on my PC? It says it will be available December, well it is December... I contacted EA Support and they said they do not have
any information on XBOX Ultimate pass after going through 30 minutes of confirming my EA account and talking over my issue.

So what is the problem here? Is it just not released yet for us? I have my accounts linked, the EA Desktop app, and Xbox Ultimate Pass which INCLUDES a complimentary EA Play pass that I can not use on
PC yet.

How do I enable this feature or do I have to wait later in December for this to release? I can't find an official release date at all anywhere. Thanks for the help!

If you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass for PC member, you’ll need to link your EA and Xbox accounts, and then make sure you have EA Desktop (Beta) installed on your PC. If you don’t, the Xbox app on Windows 10 will walk you through the setup process.

Did you purchase Game Pass for PC, Xbox Game Pass, or Game Pass Ultimate? Only Ultimate includes EA Play.

If you have EA Play for PC, then that is coming to Xbox Game pass for PC. If you have EA Play for Xbox, then that is what is going to be included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from the 10th November.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is £10.99 a month. Ultimate includes Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass for console, Xbox Game Pass for PC, EA Play for Xbox, EA Play for PC & Xbox Cloud Gaming. So for the extra £4 you are getting a lot of value for money.

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you want just EA Play without the Game Pass subscription, correct? Are you trying to keep your EA Play subscription for PC or in the Xbox?

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is for both Xbox and PC, and it includes EA Play for both PC and Xbox.

Xbox Game Pass for PC is for PC games, and it includes EA Play for PC

EA Play for Xbox members who join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will have their EA Play membership on Xbox automatically canceled, and any remaining time will be rounded up and converted to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate time at a ratio of 3:1

If you just want EA Play, you can purchase it separately for £3.99 / month or pay annually £19.99 / year EA Play - EA Video Game Membership - EA Official Site

You can also purchase EA play separately on the Xbox console by:

1. Pressing the Nexus Button

2. Navigate to and click on "My games & apps"

3. Select "See all"

4. Navigate to and click on "Full library"
5. Under "Available offers" you should see "EA Play"

From there it will ask you if you want to purchase an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription which includes EA Play along with 100s of other titles, or just EA Play.
