Xbox Ultimate multiple users at the same time

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Xbox Forum support. The short answer to your question is yes, yes you can. When you are home sharing with someone, you are sharing your games (not the add-ons) and subscription; Therefore, the person benefiting from the home
console feature doesn't necessarily need to have a subscription of their own unless the subscription is different from the one you have on your account. What seems to be the issue in your case is the fact that you are both trying to use the same account at
the same time. Since playing with the same account in different consoles at the same time is impossible, the way to achieve your request would be to mark your console as a home console by your son's account, and then once the console is set as a home console,
log in with your own separate account to play games. You will find below the official link to everything you need to know about home sharing in case you were curious about other aspects of the feature. To set your console as a home console, sign in with your
son's account and you can follow the steps provided in the link below on the "Designate an Xbox console as your home console" option.

You have to create a new profile for your child to use . Me and my son share my game pass ultimate account and he has to have his own profile active to play at the same time as me . If he signs in to my profile it while im gaming it will sign me out .

Hi i use to have a similar problem have you tried clicking install and see if it corrects its self

Yes and I hastily clicked cancel as I saw it was indeed trying to install again. Then I went and checked the other account and it says "Play" on that account so is still recognised as installed on that account. But on mine it's legitimately trying to make
me install it twice lol. Need a fix please.

it is issue, maybe you should connect with support. The game must be installed only one to both accounts

It isn't quite the same on PC sadly.
