Yesterday I was about to renew my gamepass sub. but the only thing xbox pop up was ultimate. I leaned more about it such as your current subs get updated to ultimate. the exchange value from 1 month = 20 day of ultimate,3 = 2, 6 = 4, 12 = 5 (xbox.com/gamepass).

But wait....I´m losing 33% of my time, course why?

If u want 12.99 and I give 10 that is 77% where do 11% go?

On top of the Gold, GamePass and GamePass for PC you also get Ultimate Editions of Xbox Game Studios games. You get a way bigger value with ultimate that's why the conversion rate is lower. As others have already mentioned, the initial conversion converts
both the Xbox Live Gold and GamePass time at the ratio of 1:1

First awesome to get feedback so quickly.

Ultimate is a great deal and it sounds even better if the initial upgrade gives u 1 by 1 conversion.

By the was how much gold can u turn in years, is there any limit. But adding 1 or 2 more years to my gold sub before I upgrade to ultimate is almost to good.

But after that keeping ultimate and turning in anything lower then ultimate cards will take u more time away then needed. For a month of game pass u should get 23+ day of ultimate & is the 12 month game pass cheaper to get or why do only get 5 month instead
of 8.

I you upgrade to ultimate game pass you keep all the current time on your Xbox live gold with no deductions. If you add time to Xbox live gold it will add what ever you purchase. The reduced rate is if you upgrade to Ultimate then either purchase/win/or
are gifted Xbox live gold time when added there is a conversion rate.

If you want to extend your Xbox live gold first then convert to ultimate it works out as the best value.

that's the conversion rate. It's like that because with one subscription you can convert to ultimate that includes Gold, game pass and game pass pc.

First the conversion is only after you do the initial upgrade.

I'll give you an example.

Before I upgraded my gold was set to expire june 2020 and my game pass was running month to month and had just renewed back in June.

So when I upgraded I now have the ultimate game pass till july 2020 and will not be charged till then.

It is only after you upgrade that the conversion rate takes affect.
