    Xbox Twitch Stream WITH Music??


    Nowhere I've looked seems to have a good answer, so I'll ask here and see. Does anyone know how to stream Twitch broadcasts from your Xbox AND get music to play on the stream? I get that Xbox must have had to take action against all the people using licensed and royalty charging music, but it seems to me if a streamer is paying for Royalty Free music to accompany their stream, they should have access to it. I have tried and exhausted all options I can think of, has anybody else had any luck at all??

    I didn't say twitch copyright, I said copyright laws

    What I mentioned is that due to those laws the twitch app on Xbox doesn't allow music streaming, since those free music sources are not available to stream the content on Xbox

    Why would it be related to music? If that was the case then Twitch wouldn't allow the game to be streamed from PC etc.

    Currently you can't stream the music directly on the console, you will need to use a capture card to stream the console from a Pc if you wanna include music at your own risk, as the copyright laws don't allow this, the Twitch app doesn't offer the option for it

    You can also contact Twitch, as they are the developers of the streaming app, to confirm this

    Well this comes from my experience but I would say that you’re basically having a whole bunch of signals run into each other, you need to get some kind of audio mixer or you can pick one up for 40 or 50 bucks and then use the RCA output on it to go down to the jack on the controller. That Jack only can provide so much power on top of that, so it needs the assist
    That makes so much sense! Geez, I have no experience with audio mixers at all....would you be able to give me an idea of what to look for in a mixer? I really appreciate you giving me so much advice!

    I now have more questions though, what do you mean Twitch copyright doesn't allow stream music? I'm fairly sure I've heard multiple sources say it was fine to include royalty-free music from a source that gives license to use the music for creative content. There's even multiple services that provide music for just that purpose, and charge for it as well, so I find it confusing that you're telling me it basically isn't allowed...
