    xbox turns on then back off


    I am not sure whats going on with it, the other night i was playing xbox, out of nowhere it start turning off and on all by itself and since then, it turns on for a few seconds then cuts right off, not sure whats going on with it but all lights work just
    the system wont stay on. What should I do?

    You can inform the Twitter team, but there is already a few bugs on the subject. It is known, and being looked into (if you review previous posts about this issue it is already known). No worries. I would rather have more info then less.

    Xbox turns tv off then immediately back on.

    I posted to this thread on Dec 15 thinking that the code worked. However it only successfully turned off my TV that one time, most likely because I was standing directly in front of the sensor, blocking the iR signal. Now, everytime I shut down the XboxOne
    normally, the TV cycles off and then back on. This bug is easily reproducible and should be easy to fix. I hope someone at Microsoft is aware of the problem and working on a quick fix.

    Hello Countryboy

    Sorry for the issue of console turning off and on. I would recommend
    Power cycle     the console but leave it off. Then I would unplug the xbox from the wall and leave it sit for 5 minutes. Once this is done go ahead plug it back in see if it will turn on. If it is an xbox one and that didn't work see if you can borrow a friends
    power supply and try it. If it still does the same thing then you would need a console repair.

    Hi there,

    please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link:
    http://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console     be sure to wait at least 60 seconds try then disconnect the console from power, wait another 2 minutes and after that reconnect the console to power and before trying to powering on again
