Xbox turns itself off 5-6 seconds after being on

Try to delete the Xbox cookies by keeping the button on the Xbox 5-6 seconds, wait 30 seconds after turning off and turn it back on and check if the problem persists.

Try this to see if it helps with your controlling loser sync.

Eject any disks in the console.

Hold down the Xbox logo on the front of the console for 5 to 6 seconds until it beeps and turns off.

After it is powered off, unplug the power from the back of the console itself. Wait 10-20 seconds. Plug the console back in and power it back up.

Re-sync your controller and continue playing.

Have you tried pressing the Xbox logo for 5 or 6 seconds to turn it off completely then waiting 30 seconds and then turning it back on. I believe it is called a hard reset. that should help. either that or try getting in contact with Microsoft about it possibly
being faulty.

Did you have it plugged into a surge protected power strip? If so plug it directly into the wall and see if that helps.

The turning off is a common problem with my xbox due to poor ventilation, but it always turns back on automatically by itself. When I turned it off after it restarted as normal, it is now not turning on anymore, instead turning on for a second and turning
itself off again
