    XBox turns back on


    For a while now, when I turn my Xbox One off for the night, it then turns itself back on. I do have the Kinects, and I do use voice commands; I also use battery packs and plug the controllers in. However, let me explain the routine I do to try and eliminate
    as many possible issues that could cause it. First, I plug my controller in, set it down, along with my headset. My sound bar is muted when I first turn the console on, so that eliminates sound from that. Secondly, everyone in the house is asleep, and the
    only things on are the AC and fan. I then use voice commands, "Hey Cortana..." to turn it off. By this time my controller is down, stable, nothing pressing any of the buttons, and has been plugged in. I give the command to go to sleep/yes, it turns off, chime
    and all, I walk away, it turns on. Sometimes, if I wait almost 3+ mjnutes before giving the command, it stays off, but it is not always. Im nit sure what can be causing the problem, and this is a problem. Just to make sure its not some weird voice echoing
    issue, after I set the contoller down, its stable and nothing pressing the buttons, I turn it off by the controller. Sometimes, it will turn itself back on again. It's quite annoying.

    Xbox controller won’t turn back on?

    So I knew I had an update due for my Xbox and comtroller(it’s a two paddle scuff). I updated the Xbox then plugged in my controller. It tried to start the update but then the controller shut off. I’ve tried multiple sets of batteries. Rechargeable and nonrechargable.
    I can’t seem to get it to turn back on. Help please

    xbox turns on then back off

    I am not sure whats going on with it, the other night i was playing xbox, out of nowhere it start turning off and on all by itself and since then, it turns on for a few seconds then cuts right off, not sure whats going on with it but all lights work just
    the system wont stay on. What should I do?

    Hey there LeaniaPC.

    Is your Xbox One plugged into a power strip or is it plugged directly into a wall outlet? If you're using a power strip, please bypass that and plug your Xbox One directly into a wall outlet, as power strips may cause some troubles such as your console power
    on and off.

    please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link:
    http://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console     be sure to wait at least 60 seconds try then disconnect the console from power, wait another 2 minutes and after that reconnect the console to power and before trying to powering on again

    I don't know if it is directly linked with the update but the problem did start happening right before i did the most recent update.
