Xbox turning on when TV turns on

JUST FOUND IT HAPPENS WITH ANYTHING I TURN ON [turned on my guitar amplifier at the opposite side of my room and my Xbox turned on]

Sorry off topic, but the only thing I thought of was that you need the ghostbusters, with hint of electrician.

That is a bit strange. Have you tried taking the console to a different location in the house that would be on a different circuit and make sure it does not happen there to rule out any strange issues with the outlet or circuit? Also, does the console plug
directly in to an electrical outlet or does it go through a surge protector first? let us know. Thanks!

My xbox turns on or off when I turn the tv on, it sends a signal to it. I don't know how to turn it off, I remember the original xbox one had an option to set up the tv like this but i can't seem to find the settings on my xbox one x, i looked
through my tv and can't find anything on there either. I have Samsung tv, please if anyone has answer I'd appreciate it.

do you have a kenect or is your xbox on instant on or connected to glass-wire

The correct setting for TV/Audio/Cable device power options is under Settings > TV & OneGuide > Device Control

But the above response os correct, the Xbox can turn on your TV, not the other way around. We need step by step what you do to turn on your TV to fully diagnose this...

For example;

1. Push Power button on TV remote.

2. TV turns on.

3. Xbox lights up and powers on.

Though this is virtually impossible at this point because Xbox refuse to give HDMI-CEC and rely on the IR blaster.
